What could this terrible creature be? It is a teddy bear of course - without facial features, ears or arms. I have to make a trip into town for some batting to fatten this guy up a bit. It is an easy knit - all in one piece thus far (minus the ears) and you pick up stitches in holes on the sides for the arms. With my seaming "issues", it is nice not to have to fight with that on this project (even though the owner of Twist offered to seam for me!).

Well, I put up some little fences to keep the dogs from getting twisted around the trees and it works! Yipee! I also replaced the power source in my big computer and it works! Yipee! I am not struggling with getting the Internet set up on that computer. We also made some dump runs to get rid of stuff that the owners left behind (did you really need a slightly broken ab roller or diorama of an energy efficient house?). I am making some runs to donate usable items though.

I also am going to start working next Monday. Yep - back to work for me. I will only be there 15 hours a week and that shouldn't cut into my already busy life (tee hee). I will be doing counseling for Cath. Charities and am actually excited about it (except for the fact that I have to get some suitable work clothes that fit). Apparently, the clients are not severely mentally ill and the main issues are depression, PTSD, anxiety and the like. Much easier that the counseling I have done in the past!

Can't wait to see what the teddy bear will look like!

Congrats on the job. I used to work for Cath. Charities in the group homes out in Spokane.....good experience with management anyway. :) Good luck!

When do you leave for Vegas?!

Very cool with the job . . . congrats! I thought you had a horrible interview there? Bad news, I sprained my ankle climbing on Saturday. I was having so much fun, we were doing a vertical hand line which I'ld already done and found too easy so I was trying another route. Mistake! On crutches and hoping for a speedy triathlon recovery, but it may be only a dream. GRRRRRRR!

Congrats on the job. I wonder why nothing like that appeared while you were in Wichita? Hmm. Are you going to take maternity leave when Baby arrives?
