I was skyping with my sister the other day and I put Parker in front of the screen. Older sister was talking and Parker was hilariously looking at the screen. It was so darn funny.

So, here are 5 things to help get you through the rest of the week!

1. A new favorite blog. How About Orange. It has pretty pictures, links to interesting things and crafty instructables. I spent too much time at work looking at her old posts.

2. Website with the best cupcake recipes ever. Cupcake Bakeshop. Two of the ones that I would love to try are: Melt in Your Mouth Chocolate Cupcakes with Whipped Cream and Lemon, Lime & Grapefruit Curd Filled Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. Hungry yet?

3. I am thinking of investing in this stroller. It only gets great reviews and it will help me get back to triathlons that much quicker! The BOB SUS D'Lux.

4. A new knitting pattern that I think I really might knit. It is by Knit and Tonic who has created many cool patterns. It is the Yogini Bolero.

5. A most amusing website that gave me hours (okay, not that long) of enjoyment. You click on an animal and then a country and a child's voice makes that animal noise in their language. It is so darn great... The dog was hilarious! It is called, Bzzzpeek.

Lia,

We did a bike/hike yesterday--five miles along Lake Eklutna to the trailhead for bold peak. The hikers with the GPS said we covered 1700 elevation in an hour. It was up and up and up. The view was spectacular . . . and so was the black bear a hiker's toy poodle chased away!

I LOVE the watermelon keg idea from All About Orange. EmmyLou was delightful last night, but made it rather challenging to wake this AM.

don't get the sus. the fixed wheel strollers like the sus are hard to maneuver when walking. get the revolution. the rotating front wheel can be locked in place for running and left free for other uses. if you get the revolution, it will be the only stroller you'll ever need (until you need the *double* bob). it even fits through the x-ray thing at the airport check points.
