Okay everyone - my mother ordered a quilt and shams for my guest room. It currently has white walls and I need some suggestions for paint colors. As you might remember from the nursery color debacle of 2008, it takes me a long time to select a color. All of the shows on HGTV seem to say, I pulled the paint color from ... So, we shall pull the paint color from the quilt!

Take a gander at the picture or go to the company store website to see it for real. Then, take a vote on which color my guest room should be! I like most of the colors, but am not a dark paint gal for the most part. I don't think I would go with the maroon or brown, but all the others are in the running!!!

That is a big responsibility!! I just would go for the lighter colors - or maybe pick one color and paint the headboard wall and keep the rest quiet colors. Heck I don't know - guess you will have to make your own mistakes - tga

Very pretty! I would just avoid the flesh color, do di do. You're house has great colors on the walls and you'll do fabulously with my room too I'm sure. I hope to use it soon.

Go the very lightest green - it looks good in your room at home (but it sure gets darker on the walls)..............dad

Well... Im color blind so I'm probably the *worst* person to suggest any kind of color :P Pink is my favorite color so any excuse to paint the walls pink is good for me, but in hind sight thats probably not the best choice for a guest room. The quilt is so cute though! Very cheerful :)

I agree w/your dad, light green (like the strip of light green on the quilt - center top).

I say a *very* light sage color. More muted than an actual sage. Let me know what you end up doing. Love the quilt!
