I finally finished the blue charade socks. I used panda silk and it is so smooshy and silkly. As usual, these will find another home with someone who treat them right by taking them out on long walks and not keeping them stuck in a drawer. They fit snuggly on me, so maybe slightly smaller than a size 8 or 8.5 would be best. They were a fun knit, but now I have to move on to bigger and better things.
I usually have one project going and I start another one so that I can divide my attention and not get too bored. My project to complete is the soft, white scarf and I am deciding on a new project. I might make a pair of sweedish mittens and have fun making a chart with colors and all. I could make some Huck mittens - I just can't get them to look right and the 3 buck ones at BabiesRUs look just fine...

I'm thinking of taking a Norweigan mitten class. Huck's super bulky rainbow sweater is coming along nicely (and oh sooooo fast), but the toe up double magic loop socks are a tad stalled. Your baby alpaca just needs some edging.

Amazing - you and "K" speak a language of the knitters - which only a few select people know and understand. tga Love the blue socks!!!

LOVE the socks, you did such a beautiful job!

I just came across this blog, which I am now in love with

And they have tutorials and ideas for all kinds of fun crafts. I think I'm going to make the Diva dishwashing gloves for some of my friends for christmas this year.

Pretty! I love the Panda Silk. How glorious would a thin next-to-the-skin sweater made of it be? And how many million years would it take to knit? Ha.

really pretty. too bad they came out small. this is also my plight in knitting - end product is either too big or too small. but i enjoy the process.
