Flying to Alaska take two. Hopefully, we are leaving Spokane at 9:30 this morning to catch a noon flight out of Seattle. Keep your fingers crossed that mother nature cooperates so I don't fall completely into grinch mode! I am pakcing provisions and lots of diapers pending an unplanned layover in Seattle though...

This picture is from the Monk in Switzerland a few years ago. It is next to the Eiger - we tried to climb it but I got a touch of altitude sickness. It is because we took a train through the Eiger from sea level up to the "top of the world" and started to climb. The husband knew it was bad when I wouldn't even eat chocolate. That is a sure sign something is wrong with me!

I am a bitter, bitter woman. Was supposed to go on the 20th. Cancelled, was supposed to go on the 22nd, cancelled. Tried standby last night . . . had boarding passes IN MY HAND when the passengers showed up and they took them away. Now snowing again and not optimistic and Jon gone, dog and boys going.
