A friend gave Huck a mesh teether and I couldn't see how it would be useful. Why couldn't the little guy just hold a piece of apple himself? Well, he was so fussy and I attributed it to his teeth (or lack thereof). I ran across the teether and thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Boy did he enjoy gumming a piece of apple - juice was all over his face and he had it way back by his molars even. Also, we gave him a bit of refried beans last night and I think it was his all time favorite food yet. I don't think that I will put any beans in teether though - maybe some banana today.

I can't believe how big Huck is becoming. And such a happy, handsome lad he is. The mesh teether sounds wonderful - tga

He's going to have tough teeth--if they ever show up.

Golly he's sitting up so well. No more slump for Huck! I have no doubt he will be a great eater, like the rest of us.

Those teethers are great to put ice and frozen grapes in when they're teething. All the wonderful coldness, but none of the choking hazards.

Steven had those mesh teethers too and really enjoyed them. I put in chunks of cold watermelon when he was teething, cantelope and halved grapes. I hope Hucks teeth come in soon!

Josephine is teething and actually I discovered some ridges on the bottom gums the other day! My friend gave me some of those mesh teether things and I forgot about it until now! Thanks for posting this - I will have Josie chewin on one of those tonight.

Huck is so handsome Lia!
