Here is the one and only picture of the trek up North. While it is a super scenic trip, we mainly end goal focused. We did see 8 black bears, bison, moose, caribou, coyotes and the death of 3 birds by dad's truck. We left Washington at about 7:30 on Wednesday morning and got to Alaska on Friday night about 9:30. We over nighted in Chetwynd and Whitehorse. We drove through sun, sleet, hail, snow and rain. The dogs were good in the back and made it from potty stop to potty stop without whining much. Huck did some stints of crying, but it was a protest to his car seat and I felt like protesting at times too. I just figured that he was nursed and changed so the issues weren't life threatening. I had a big bag of toys and would hand them back one by one and then collect them to refill the bag at each stop. It had some effectiveness. So, we are settling in up North. No dog fights between my dogs and the house dog, Gabby, so that is a good thing.

What a crew. That is nearly record pace, especially with the dogs and a babe.
