It was a beautiful Fall day yesterday so Huck and I "helped" my dad rake and mulch the leaves. Huck really liked playing with the rake and would get mad that he couldn't walk around with it and it was a bit too heavy. He actually did help rake the leaves off of the walkway - he would hold the rake and walk backwards (with a little help from me of course). I am not finished knitting his new winter hat, so he had to wear his beanie I made him last year. It was snug and wouldn't go down over his ears. Oh well, it kept him warm and we had fun in the fall leaves!

I had no idea that Ron had such good help. No wonder the lawn and driveway looked great.

Mom always said "it is the thought that counts" - and Huck thought he was helping. He is such a cute little guy! tga
