Playing Around

The man is actually being saved by his perch friend.  The man jumped out of his helicopter and into a crevasse.  Apparently, the could not do a self rescue and needed assistance.

The boys are playing independently and together more and more.  It is so interesting to watch them (or observe them!).  The stories they imagine and act out do tend to start from a show, book or event and then run wild.  The other day, Duke had all the Fischer Price little people using the potty and then his dinosaur took a turn.  They all got M and Ms for doing their business.

They also love physical play.  They like it when I turn their tower on it's side so they can use it as a boat or car.  This typically ends in a fight or head being smushed, but they have fun until that time comes.

I didn't leave the house on Monday.  I think it hit 1 degree above and the cold sapped my motivation that was already low due to a cold.  I took my night time cold medicine too late and had a hangover for much of the morning.  Urg.  I felt better throughout the day and will only take half a night time medicine tonight!!

Great tales of raising two boys so close in age - oh yeah I did that too and remember only the fun. Time passes so quickly but when I look at them now I am blessed. Hope you get to feeling better soon! xox tga
