Kincaid took this picture actually while we were waiting for skedaddle to start. He is pretty good, or it shows how wonderful autofocus can be! We got off to a bit of grumpy morning and I later found out it was due to sniffles, snot and sneezes. The trifecta that can ruin a beautiful and snowy day. Kincaid ended up falling asleep on the way home from skedaddle and Duke followed quickly after. They haven't napped in a while, so I knew something was up. Poor kiddos.
It looks like something is going on under the play structure with these two.
The kids (all boys) hung out under the structure in their "snow restaurant". Apparently, this is a popular game around town. I am glad that my kids don't do what many do (make it a McDonalds). I had a snow sandwich with honey and then a snow pizza, quite tasty.
Kincaid wanted to go home at this point. I had put the blanket up as a wind block so he could grab a snack, but he needed to head home and fall asleep. They both also are adjusting to not having their aunt Kory here. Just too much to deal with apparently.
