My mom and I braved the 64 degree water to swim in a lake with the local triathlon club. We rented wetsuits and jumped on in! It was cold, but those suits were so darn floaty. I could float without treading water at all - amazing. I did have some trouble catching my breath when my face went into the water though. It felt nice to do something that I didn't like, wasn't particularly good at and was rather frightened of (there were weeds). We did it though and boy did the heater feel nice on my totally numb feet on the way home.

You ladies are incredible. One does not often do something that is out of a comfort zone--- really really commendable. I hope to swim with you guys again next week with our heaters blaring!
