It was a wild day that just zoomed by in a flash. We woke up and after discussing Kincaid's nightmare related to me leaving him by jumping into the "magic ocean book", started playing Indiana Jones. The boys said we had to wear hats and boots and then they found the "golden cup".
We decided to heat to Cheney Lake for some "fishing". Duke is catching the first of many weed fishes here.
Kincaid had "not much luck", but we did see many trout gobbling the bugs landing on the water.
Do you think we brought enough stuff?
There were some adorable baby geese. They were so fluffy.
We then zoomed out to Mirror Lake for our weekly orienteering course. Kincaid ran the entire way. I think that if you didn't follow the paths it was 2.2 K, so he is amazing to say the least.
Duke preferred to ride for this race. He would kick his legs as if he was running though.
One of the controls was on the "dinosaur bones" - we went back after the race and the boys played a bit.
Kincaid found a water bottle label and said it was a map. Here, he is looking for the way to go. Those boys continue to crack me up at every turn.

Thank goodness you were so stylish while seeking the golden cup.
Your mom
I have always appreciated pictures of Alaska and you do such a good job taking them. It is most refreshing to see your young boys growing up in such pristine surroundings. I am sure they are also loved and enjoy such a good family life.
As an aside, I am your Dad's cousin and view your pictures on his "weekly Reader" as I call it.
