Big Salmon.

These amazing poppies are at my Aunt's house.  I thought they were amazing - huge and colorful.
Duke was most interested in the bird bath.  He kept petting the bird.  Why do my children have a huge desire to hold and pet birds?
Soon, they headed down to the river with my cousin.  He was the pied piper for sure.
After a few salmon spit out the hooks, they had a big guy on the line.  Kincaid was told to hold up the rod tip and he held so tightly to the pole.  They fought him for a while - down the river and into the rapids before finally landing him!
Kincaid was overjoyed!  It was a huge King - my cousin said about 50 pounds.  Kincaid weighs a bit over 40.  It was a monster fish.
He was really good about letting it go, even though he had found a large rock to make it stop flopping so much.  We walked up the hill to tell everyone about the fish and the first thing Kincaid said was, "I need a drink."  Such a fisherman.

The poppies were as impressive as the fish, but nothing could beat Kincaid's joy and pride!
