Thursday

It was the 100th day of school and the children were asked to dress as if they were 100 years old.  For Kincaid, that meant wearing a tux coat, tie and his most fancy pants (rather silky sweats).
He had tons of activities and I was lucky enough to get to go and help!

They had an old fashioned "camera" for the kids to get their photo taken - they had a real camera right next to it so an actual picture was taken.  You can see Kin right next to the teacher looking quite proud.  They were told to look serious.
He had the look down perfectly!
Then, I am being introduced to the world of after school playdates.  A girl who lives a few houses down walks Kin to school and also has been playing afterwards.  I am not sure I enjoy it very much, but Kin and Duke love it.  Urg.

Kin makes a wonderful hundred-year-old. The smile tops it off.
