I feel like such a bad mother. I did something horrible. I was loading up Sahale to go for our walk and I shut her tail in the car door. She yelped and cried. I quickly opened the door and got in the front seat to assess the situation. She hopped into my lap. I palpated the tail and no crying (no problems at all on the walk or now). We went on a LONG walk to make up for the tail incident. I left Parker at home so we could go a bit further. Sahale almost ate a snake though - that would have been a mess for sure! Well, the inlaws are here so I better get my tush in gear. Have a nice day.

PS Quished tails happen and dogs have a short memory.
Jon shut Sandy's tail in the door too. Plus, I came home yesterday and there were red stains ALL over the back patio. It turns out he tried to cut Sandy's nails . . . ironically he gave me a horrible time when I cut the quick on one nail spilling like 4 drops of blood. This looked like a murder scene . . .
