We had a wonderful hike. It was a fantastic 2 hours, just pure bliss. It was sunny, the boys were in a good mood and they had fun. They did fishing in all the puddles after they broke through the ice so their lures would hit the water.
Duke taught one of his friends to fish and she had a great time.
It was so sunny and we found this swamp. I don't think it usually is a lake. I think there would be tons of mosquitoes come summer, but they were big and slow this time of year.
Kincaid got hungry and tired so he had to rest and eat.
At the end of the hike, the kids ran up and down this hill forever. They pushed each other and rolled. It was great.
The boys did some climbing on this rock and then had to rest.
Kincaid then found a mud slide and did it quite a few times. His pants are now in the wash because this is how they looked...
