Dandies and Madagascar

This picture is from the other day.  It was a rainy day, but my friends and I took our boys to the playground.  Duke had a fantastic seat under his umbrella, swinging and eat goldfish.

This is from Skedaddle.   The boys are getting better about playing with other kids.  They ask friends to play with them and go down the slide.  It always ends up with just them though.  I like that they love to play together and are rarely without each other.

The girl next to Duke is one of their friends.  She follows them around and they like to play with her.

Duke liked to draw with chalk and seemed to get most of it on his shirt.

Our skedaddle was at Sunset Park on Government Hill.  That is the curling club in the background.  I love that it is fenced in so they can't escape.

The boys spent quite a long time picking "dandies".  They are the boys' favorite flowers.

Duke filled up his entire bucket with them.  Oh, I forgot to get it out of the car.

To end the evening, we relocated our first squirrel of the summer.  I asked what he should be called, in case we see him again, and Kincaid said, "Madagascar" and Duke said, "That is an island".  Smart cookies my boys.

I don't know how you always get the greatest pictures--even on the grayest days. I loved this blog.

Perhaps an island name theme for any squirrels this summer? Let me know if you catch a Pitcairn! :)
