Planting

We love helping my cousins plant their memorial garden.  You can see it traveling out of town on the Glen Highway right before the Peters Creek Exit.  It is on the right side of the road with a huge Eagle atop the light post.  Duke and Kincaid were amazing helpers with carrying flowers and this huge Kale.
There were stakes for these tall flowers and I looked over to see Duke sticking them all in the group.  So funny. They loved finding worms.  I would dig them up and carrying them over to a little pile - the worm home.
When we got the flowers, they gave us a plan for the flowers that dictates which ones go where.  It was so fun to lay them all out and the boys helped with hole digging.
It looked so darn pretty when it was completed.
Kincaid walked into the sprinkler and got a bit wet.  He wanted a "soft and cozy towel" but had to make do with my coat.
Duke enjoyed eating the frosting off of a cupcake and then licking it off of his fingers.
They boys got quite tired and resorted to laying on the grass kicking their feet.  I should have taken a movie.
It was a great time with our relatives!  It makes me so happy that we live here and are so close to them!
