Wrap up

The boys were going wild.  They were at each other's throats, quite literally.  It was craziness, so out we went.  We leashed up Sal and set off for the dog park.

It was chilly, but Kincaid needed to take off his coat for some running.  He was practicing for his big race, which you will hear about down the page.

Duke did some walking as well.

It started sprinkling and then raining.  Soon it felt a bit like snow and then the hail started.  We don't get hail very often in Anchorage, so it was pretty neat.  I took a video of it bouncing off the rain shield for the stroller.

The boys had such a great time with Kory.  They were playing hide and seek in the bed.

We went to the zoo for the race and were early (strange, eh?) so we looked at the animals.

Here is the racer before the race.  He looked so good in his race shirt, Bear Grylls hat and shark gloves.

Look at him zooming for the finish line.  You can't see his arms pumping like mad!

I was so proud of him!!!  The race took about 2 minutes and it ran through part of the zoo.  He held my hand for a bit, but then we turned by the wolves and they were howling up a storm.  He let go and ran the rest of the way.  One dad told his child to run fast because the wolves wanted to eat him, I told Kincaid they were howling because he was running so well.

We also broke out the wagon and went over the playground.  They had a great time.  Duke still loves the swings and Kincaid loves hanging onto the spider web and letting go to fall down.
