Bird Creek Fun

It was sunny at home and when we got to Bird Creek we faced gale forced winds and quite cool temperatures.  We set out with our hiking group nonetheless.

It was unfortunate that fishing season isn't open yet as the boys would have liked to see the hoards!

I loved this sign along the bridge.  It amused me, but the boys were confused.
Kincaid walked almost the whole way and Duke walked in bits and spurts.   It got much warmer when we were shielded by the trees.

The boys had fun running with their friends.

Duke enjoyed building a raft.  He then sat on it with a long stick and tried to spear whales.

It was so darn pretty on our way back.

Isn't it pretty?  Yes, Duke only has on one shoe.  The other one was in the stroller.

The boys were doing some hugging that tuned quickly into wrestling.  No one got hurt, this time.

There were some steep stairs around the corner, but Kincaid wanted to go up this face.

You can see how windy it was out there.  Duke was driving during this shot.  He said it wasn't as windy in the car.  Such a smart cookie.
